I have one open ended question. Where did this grudge form between Civics and Mustangs? I always figured they were different enough to not clash. Besides, the Mustang was originally a 6-Cylinder "Sporty" Car for Women. Over the years, Ford has tried to evolve them into a more Man-ish car, but they are still cars for people who want an American V8 without the V8 atributes.
