I believe the problem isn't "the civic", it's GA's scene. In Georgia, you cannot be original. As soon as you post a pic of your car on this site, or goto the Varsity meet, there's someone asking you "what is that?", "where did you get that?", "how much did you pay for that?" LOL, bitches can't be original here! GA is full of copycats. So the only way you can be original is by staying hidden.

Also, I hate when people just single out Civics when it come to "revving on people". I drive a CRX (which is a civic), and I get revved on by just about the same amount of mustangs as civics, so it's not just civic owners that do that LOL. When are people going to realize that being a ricer is not based on what car you drive. It's how you act behind the wheel!

Last, I'm in the process of building an eg, and I can promise you that it's going to be different from most riding around GA. For one, it's a 4dr (yeah yeah no hb here) and I'm collection rare parts and going the extra mile here and there to make it "my car", unlike most people. By the time I'm done, it's going to one of the nice and unique (yeah I'm going to calm unique LOL) egs around.
