Props to NyteRyder. That's a fast car. Do you have the exact weight of it? You said it was around 2600, What all have you done to reduce the weight?

I don't wanna answer for him....but I'm gonna do it anyway.Originally Posted by lightspeed
No IRS brace or anything to make it "safe" to launch from a dig, so I'm pretty sure he will only go from a roll.

I haven't yet, but I certainly wouldn't be opposed to it.Originally Posted by lightspeed

Kinda sucks it has the torque management written into the ECU. I was reading a post by Ranger, saying that the better you launch the car, the more the TM affects it down the run. The better his 60' time was, the worse his quarter mile time was. I can't remember the exact numbers, but I wanna say his 1.7 60' yielded him a 11.5 quarter, but his 1.9s 60' got him an 11.21. Something like that.
Anyway, my point is....I'm not sure how good the car will run from a dig, but I am certainly interested to try it. It's just a matter of finding a good spot to do it.
P.S. I prefer to go from a roll, because the videos we make are trying to compare the cars instead of the drivers. We feel that going from a 50mph+ roll, there's not much you can really screw up. Things aren't going to be perfect, but from a roll you eliminate a lot of driver error, and come closer to seeing a matchup of the vehicles involved.
From a roll if I'm running an AWD Cyclone.Originally Posted by lightspeed

550whp? Is that possible? meaning, do you really think that car was putting out that much? Is your car running 350whp+? Since your car is light, I would assume with at least 350-450 whp it would be similiar to a cobra with that much power.Originally Posted by Nyteryder
Mark, a GT30 eh? Are all the GT turbo's ball bearing? Anyone else you know have a GT series turbo without the BB. I have a half GT turbo (compressor only standard t3 garrett wheel).
Yes.Originally Posted by 92mr2T

you know if you take your car to a shop and get everything done right, your car would be more of a beast, I have been through the problem of ic piping popping off and various other problem. There no substitue for just paying the money and having it done right. I bet you will pull even better numbers. Did you build your bottom end or is it stock.Originally Posted by Nyteryder

This is true, my skills are of no comparison to a shop, but I would never take my car to a shop to fix something that myself or my friends can do ourselves. If I run into a few problems so be it, fix it and keep steping. Bottom end is stock.Originally Posted by stikiller
Are ya thinking of running meth. Or maybe stroking the motor for quicker spool up.Originally Posted by Nyteryder
