I did remember seeing an xspower turbo where the compressor housing split in half. I don't think the china built turbos have the quality control that the higher dollar garrett/turbonetics do. If that turbo comes apart you might be sending bits of metal into your engine...you better hope the intercooler catches all of it. You should see the results when Jose at forcedinductions did a VSR balance test of one of those XSpower turbos. I wouldn't put one of those turbos on my lawnmower.
I agree with you fully...I don't plan on pushing this turbo hard anyways....but I will keep my eyes on it though. I didn't know about the xs turbos failing the balance test though.
