i kinda granny shifted it before when i was making stockish power (the rear end would go "clunk" and some boggin existed, now i can kinda grab 2nd hard and the car barks no more bogging or clunks.Originally Posted by tony
awd launches take alot of practices. try this.. study where your clutch catches and have it memorized..
once you got that down.. pump the throttle, rev up and down keeping it between 5500-6500 rpm and start feathering out to the point of catch, the car should start moving right before it catches completely, as soon as the car starts moving dump completely (you should pretty much be right at catching point at that point)
