it might seem that way, because of the no torque you dont feel you are

accelerating as fast as you are. it is really a car that lives and wins at the

top end, with vtec hitting at like 4500rpm and lasting till 8500rpm+

with s2k springs, the power band of the vtec actually makes up for the lack

of torque in the low end.

ask the chipped and bolton 1.8t and vr6 owners that were blown away by

    these cars.

hondata and new K-PRO really change these cars.

K-PRO is a full stand alone.

i remember the good ole days when i raced someone.. beat them.. and they wanted to go again.. and i was like.. why dont you try an RSX.. ( i would act like i didnt know Ravi nor Julio) and they were like "yeah right"... ravi and Julio would follow up with the "why.. you scared?".. and it was on.. the opponents got taken on the hwy.. some didnt even come back.

Let me get behind the wheel of her Z. Then we'll see. Not to sound cocky or anything. I just have a good bit of experience in launching rwd cars. (brother in law's Mustang GT mostly, and a few M3's.)

i have a good bit of experience as well.. however the BFG kdw's i have in the rear seem to have alot of temperature traction issues, i spin and hop like crazy or bog.. there is no in between right now.. unless maybe i ride them at low tire pressure.. but fuck that, ill do dig runs in the day or when it gets warmer, im too lazy. but thats beside the point, its her car.

I believe she has some shitty Kumho's. That thing would have shitty traction on a melting rubber road. I think she has the 711's.

I'm just saying that I believe it would be more of a fair race if I were to drive it. She's still trying to relearn driving a clutch. It's been a couple years since she's driven one, before this car.

Not really. Bunch of girls on this site have cars faster than hers, myself included, (few that are MUCH MUCH faster) and nobody is scared of them. Her sig is just stupid and I think it annoyed people how she talks like "the Z" is god's gift to mankind in the form of a vehicle.

We'll just do both if that's cool with you. I'm curious to see the outcome of a highway run with an 1.8t w/chip with this car. I got owned by one back when I had a GSR with bolt-ons. What mods do you have?

bolt ons (no internals) and i'm running an 4dr 01' so it is actually rated under the 02-05 1.8t my last dyno was 200whp/245lbs

i'm cool w/ both dig/roll... i just know from a dig its tuff - car is way too fucking heavy and they just aren't built for drag...

i need to get the car scanned this week... probably need another MAF sensor, so let me see what i can do about us meeting up this weekend

    what are you running? (dyno)

KPRO IS NOT A FULL STANDALONE.

the Skunk2 cams are only available in STAGE 1 which is similar to the DC5R cams. I have the only set of Stage 2s by Skunk2 right now for our RSX we are building.

IPS cams make pretty good power, and IMO itll be between the S2S2 and the IPS K2s to see who wins. IPS does some crazy shit but Skunk2 has the fastest K series all motor car in the world right now so they are doing something right.

A RSX S with 210whp couldnt beat my old GSR 1.8l that made 190whp.

However, a VW or Audi, with 200/245, would be interesting to see, cause they cant rev out like a Honda. Powerband will be the determining factor

That's cool, I'm running around the same hp with much less torque than you. (143) Should be interesting. I'll be at the Northlake meet this Saturday.

yeah man, i think im available friday. not talking shit for i do not know how fast your car is.. but that RSX is one hell of a sleeper for most of the cars out on the road. if im available, im only doing 50 or 70mph pulls btw. im having some hesitation issues at 80.. this intake duct is working alot better than i thought.

that was her. I never got to race BIGDAWG as he made 223whp on our dyno, and swore he would have beat me. but we both sold our cars before we got to run.

but now he has a CRX, and so do i (again).

i should be out very soon. be safe guys.

Very true, its just certain ways to go about it. I wont lie after getting my G turbo'd I didnt think many streetable cars would be able to keep up then charles (ct9a gsr) goes and hands me my ass the very first race I had, I've been humble about it ever since.

Trust me when you get into running other modified cars a stock Z is average at best, especially with a mediocre driver.. talking sh*t or cockiness only makes you more of a target.

Depending on where you guys will be I'll come out this weekend, someone shoot me a pm about it.
