Oh shit I just realized you said "dynoTUNE". Thats $149 an hour. Unless you have a S-AFC then thats $100. Please tell me you don't have a S-AFC and are claiming 450.
AEM, call it a charity event. I'll take a pie in the face on video if my car doesnt dyno over 400.

Sorry not my charity. You could have a telethon maybe. It won't, not @ 20psi, unless you have a high compression motor. I'm wondering too, how is it that you have an AEM, and a claimed 450 whp car, which is not cheap to execute, on this budget you supposedly don't have? Who tuned it? that wasn't cheap either. Incredibly suspicious that you have this set up and yet have no tuning and no dyno chart to represent it.

Ok.... you got me. I've got a stock SR20 with a small turbo. The only reason i out run anything is because.... as previously stated in this thread. I am god.

I've only read through page 2, but I ran 1SlowPOS with my cobra. At the time I was making about 450rwhp and weighed in at about 3900lbs with me in it. He was making 405rwhp. This was his last build before he sold the car. Results are as follows:

Really? I've seen a Terminator Cobra with stock bottom end, stock heads and stock cam make 870+rwhp with a twin turbo setup... I realize thats only one example, but that was a couple years ago. I'm sure there are more out there now.

dunno, that was the "dyno queen" tune on race gas. His street tune was in the 600s

Fuck!!! I knew I should have stayed out longer. Cops have been kicking everyone out of Sonic lately though plus I had my son with me so I had to go home.

Here's the DL on the cars he raced from what I know.

White s/c stang - Supposed blowzilla. Kid has a huuuuuge head cause he out ran a pretty fast srt-4 from here. But for those that know the srt driver we know he sandbagged.

Blue cobra - came down from Opelika I believe 2 wknds ago and got outran by the srt. He said 600hp but I'm not sure if I believe it.

Red eg hatch - built ls/vtec, friend of mine bought it off here and traded it. Has gone to shit now with the new owners. turbo is shit.

Guy with the subaru I don't know. Never seen him run.

If you come out again this weekend hit me up man. I'll bring my camera. You and Carl(srt-4) should be a good race. He is a hell of a driver and has a pretty fast car.

Now I'm for real pissed I wet home early. I almost came back out too. MattB was telling me to come to Sonic.

Either way good kills man. Especially for the first night out in it lol.

The guys in the mustangs seemed pretty cool to me. Someone told me the white stang had a huge blower on it, but i didnt actually see it. The blue cobras bark was definately worse than his bite... looking and listening to that car, i thought i was gonna get hosed.

A few people really talked up the red civic... someone said it was a 10 second car... i dont believe that for a minute. I didnt race him, but the time i stalled my car out when trailing, i ran him down pretty easily.

Check my youtube link for me vs "the rocketship" lol. Let's just say he couldn't handle the 1.8 60ft.

It was pretty quick when my buddy had it. I drove it and rode in it quite a few times but it's no where near a 10 second car.

A saturn ion redline was with them when they came down last that was supposedly fast as shit too. He pulled on almost everyone. He swapped out the s/c for a turbo though.

I think they said the srt got him by 6. I dunno if he left off or what. I know the srt runs 11's though. He's still running the stock turbo too.

i understand the terminator motors are a little better than other stang motors. but 870whp....come on now....Ford is notorious for under-engineering motors

Not the Terminator or GT500 though. They both have fully forged bottom ends including their H-beam rods. The GT500 bottom end is good for 1000rwhp

Aww Im so glad he finally found a friend! See how things work out? So hang in there sport, maybe someday when you come to the city we can line em up and see what happens. Next time you post up a kill maybe you'll be a little bit more prepared. Or you won't and you'll get flamed again. Thats on you.

I'm perfectly happy and content driving around in a clean, freshly painted, rebadged and retrimmed Nissan Silvia conversion in the city i live in, out running 90% of the cars on the road. Maybe its you that needs to hang in there. You're obviously suffering from some sort of social tension to be so hung up on this. We can work something out guy, Exchange pulls on the dyno for therapy sessions. You having women troubles? did you not get to play little league football? your mom breast feed you too long? Talk to me, i'm a shoulder to cry on.

Outrunning 4 Mustangs that you don't know a damn thing about constitutes outrunning 90% of the vehicles in your town?

And when your town is one like Columbus, that's a hell of a fake accomplishment to make!!

the chances of me getting out ran are pretty slim unless i go looking for something fast. Unless a 9-10 second car cruises up beside me @ redlight, im gonna be alright. I'm perfectly happy and content with my cars performance.

You also talk as if columbus is some hole in the wall. A lot of world records were set @ phenix motorsports park, plenty of fast cars here.

So my first comment to you was that you must be running deep 9's to pull on a KB Cobra like you did, and you said "Nah, I'm not that fast"

Now it takes a 9 or 10 second car to beat you?

he also said that he thinks his numbers are between 400-450 if that. so i would think he has potential to run 11.50s at best! with slicks. so any 11 sec street car should give him a good run!

you're a smart guy... quit trying to argue. I'm not going to even comment on what i think my car would run right now because that will just open up more debate and questioning. I have a number to base my opinions off of. I know what my car ran and dynoed before rebuilding, i know the ammount of change that took place and that's what i base my guesses on. My street tune is a deep 11 sec car. I ran 11.XX with the stock bottom end, cams and smaller injectors at lower psi than im currently at. Made a good number of changes since since then. I have no dyno or current ET to support it. To answer the next question that's going to be asked, Why dont i?... because like any other guy with a new toy... i'm in no hurry to tear it up. The blitz clutch im currently using is a lot less forgiving than what i'm used to and on my budget, i cant afford to fix anything i break right now. I'f i broke an axle or my transmission... i would be down the rest of the year. With that said.... I'm perfectly happy and content out running local mustangs that i know nothing about. That puts a smile on my face.
