Who said anything about traction. Again... if people would turn their flamethrowers off long enough to read. I've stated a dozen times about how dangerous the car is on these tires. A trailing rx8 told me i nearly crossed the yellow line from the 50 kick.
Like you said guy, i'm irrellevant. My car is on these tires because my budget is extended and these were all but given to me. I dont own a race shop or have my own dyno. Normal guy with a normal budget, racing a normal car. I'm perfectly content with how my car is running. I went out, looked for what i believed to be was the fastest car available and out ran it. I'm happy... throw all the stones you want if it makes you feel better.

you're right.... a turbo silvia vs various supercharged mustangs certainly was not as entertaining as 626s vs 350z or an NA honda showdown... i should have kept this information to myself.

Actually, you dropped a challenge in one of your posts, then made some statement about "475hp being something to laugh about", which most certainly implied that you're making that much power. i have no proof of exactly how fast my challengers were.... but did i really pump them up to be these amazing street beasts? people assumed i was racing a blown Gt500 or something. My description of the cars was as simple as "sohc with a blower, dohc with a KB ".... They were both older mustangs. My proof is witness. Trust me.... i was just as suprised about beating a KB as you guys are. When i walked past and saw it had a KB (after we had already raced) my initial thought was... "WTF how did that happen".
Proof... i thought more of the people there would have been on this site. I saw a few cars that i recognized from sigs that i thought would have seen this happen.

The mustangs HP output, I never made any kind of guess at this and expressed how little i knew about these mustangs. Posters came to the assumption that these mustangs were 600-700 hp cars and also assumed the year of these cars because i didnt relay that info.
Everything i have claimed to be true... is true. Anything i was not prepared to defend ( stats, figures, numbers, mods, times ) i did not comment on.

The only one here making assumptions is you. NO ONE claimed you raced a GT 500. We are all assuming you raced an '03 - '04 Cobra "Terminator" since those are the ones that came with the DOHC blown motor. A GT 500 is heavier than a Cobra, and is no faster than the Cobra is because of it (in fact, it may actually be slower mod-for-mod). If it is NOT a Terminator, then it would be even lighter and faster than we are expecting.
You are making claims that you not only beat, but REALLY pulled hard on some very strong cars. It's not that no one believes you, but when someone comes in and introduces themselves by casually talking about running as fast as a 1 liter bike on 205 street tires, questions are going to be asked.

you do know a mustang with a blower on it usually only puts down about 400-450whp if the motor isnt built. and those cars are 1 million pounds.....so in other words, they are slow
A dyno chart should be a good starting point to figure out how fast a car "could be". In your case it would not apply since your car never runs once it is off the dyno.lol.
Of course there are some that can manipulate dyno charts too, so to some extent I agree with you that they may not be a good indicator of what happens on the street.

I played up picking on mustangs because im a mustang guy myself... its sarcasm. I prefer to race with and against domestic drivers because theyre usually the more mature of the bunch.
