Lank is forecasted to be exceptionally busy in the coming days, as he is taking part in street dyno test with vehicles from around the world. He's in great demand these days but I'll see what I can do to work you into his increasingly busy schedule.
Now, we ask that your vehicle is mechanically sound and operating at 100% on the day of the race. We don't want to take the long, arduous drive out to the test spot only to have a no-go situation due to a mechanical fault with your vehicle. We are well aware that vehicles such as yours are considerably more prone to such failures as a result of continued, albiet not reccomended, operation dangerously close to the edge of the safe performance envelope.
Brad's vehicle was designed to operate reliably at his power levels, however, that is not the case with many of his opponents. To date, 6 of the vehicles that Brad has raced, have suffered catastophic mechanical and/or structural failures while conducting these performance tests - we hope yours will fair more favorably.

no its closer to 500whp.. on my curent set up on 18psi it made 461whp and 440 or so tq i built the bottom to hold 24~psi so there is some more in the tank.. and its weighs about 2800~ i think cant realy remember from the last time i weighed it at commerce. but all it does is spin, 1st=fail 2nd=fail 3=fail 4= traction even on slicks at the track so yeah its prety quick should be a mid to low 11 car if it will ever stop spining

Sir, you may need to review the Street Dyno Test Procedures Manual Volume 1 version 6, page 187, part 91.113 section C that discusses consequences of throttle application at various ground and tire temperatures, vehicle speeds, gear selections and horsepower levels.
It states that "even after the required crew training in this area has been completed, and knowing the possibility exists for an unexpected and sudden loss of traction upon throttle application, the operator of the vehicle may still be unable to arrest a sudden loss of traction.
Failure to rapidly identify and correct the traction loss may result in: mechanical damage to various rear-end components, a substantial loss in vehicle acceleration resulting in an increasing lateral separation between you and the opponent vehicle, the preceeding may be followed shortly by an unfavorable loss of directional control that may result in vehicle impact with a stationary object or other vehicle."

Depends. 460whp+ on what 195 or 205?? street tire on a 2800lb FF car. It's a VR6 so it actually makes torque too. Now this against a 500whp Vette or what not on 325's????
You could barely even go 1/2 throttle from 60 in the Golf, the other car would be lonng gone by the time it hooked.
stick a m/t et street 235.50.15 or something on there. that thing would roll out from a 2nd gear roll then

Yeah, the weight transfer of a FWD vehicle is less than optimal when wide open throttle is applied. The lateral acceleration forces effectively transfer the static weight off of the front tires and towards the rear of the vehicle. The result of which is a reduction in tire to ground contact force and area which in turn reduces the surface/tire friction coefficient below levels that would yield optimal forward acceleration.

I thought he was on DR's? And yeah, my car has 345's, but breaks loose worse than cars with more HP and smaller tires (albeit DR's as opposed to my street tires).
But I can/will still run cars with similar power to mine. I CAN do it in the cold, it's just very tricky. There's no need to ask people with a 200whp+ defecit to run with me because I don't have good traction in the cold lol
Don't be so sure about that. This car has Lank beat by 300lbs and almost the same power/torque. That 300lbs is huge.
Factor in we don't know what gear the VW has either.
I think it would be interesting from a 60mph roll.
There's only one way to find out - a gentlemanly joust on the ol' street dyno.
