I didnt ask about ANY of his mods nor did he ask about mine; I wouldnt say its not fair for me not sharing.

    power in signature.
If you feel those are not accurate and the car still makes more power then not sure what to say. Thats the power it makes and if you want to spot $50 bucks to see it on a dyno that works for me.

With this new numbers to back up the math... Lankhoss race make's sense withthe GT500 on 20s

GT500 has a W/P ratio of: 6.7 pounds per hp

    &

Lankhoss Zo6 has a w/p ration of: 6.8 pounds per hp

So, Marshall your car had to be lighter that a stock C6 or their is something missing in the equation

The 640 RWHP GT500 is not in this video - that is the white one. He ran the black one with ~670 RWHP. They both had 20" wheels when he ran them.

yeah, it'll be better to see it out after the new clutch and a retune (no... not retuning for a clutch lol that would be rediculous... just retuning in general.) she still gets her ass handed to her by the big dogs! haha

I wouldn't be surprised if you're having some clutch slip up in the higher RPM's with it being pretty worn out.

I was having that on my old clutch for who knows how long, just saw it on the dyno last Friday when I was getting retuned for 60# injectors and before I put the new clutch in. It pulls to ~105+ now in 3rd @ 6,500 - whereas before it would only show ~100 on the speedo but ~6,5k on the RPM because of slip.

you know, its interesting you say that, because about 6 months ago i remember shifting into 5th riiiiiight at the 150 mark... saturday night, my gps said max speed was 144 and that was AFTER i hit 5th, so that would make sense... its cool tho, i start a new job this week so i'll have some extra income to throw at the clutch... we'll meet up again.

you guys do know that heat soak is very prevelent on those cars... they will lose 30-40rwhp from continuous runs. i watched a bolt on cobra do his first dyno cold at 445, second 5 minutes later do 430 and his last 10 minutes later was 420.

heat soak plays a major factor. i guarantee by the end of those runs, that car was hot as hell.

and fyi, 1000 pounds makes a HUGE difference. i beat a stock gt500 with only 348rwhp. id rape them now with 75+-rwhp more.

Thats why I raced him only twice, and outcome was comparable both runs. There is no point in racing the same car 6 or 7 times and filming each one.

true... but i wasnt there and dont know how many times anyone ran. heat soak is just a reason for power loss, thats all im saying.

Doube-edged sword there. You ALSO realize that blown motors benefit more from cold weather than N/A motors, right? Ask any of these Mustang guys, they make about 2psi more on cold nights at WoT than during fair weather.

Can't have people thinking you're going to be reeling in a 475 RWHP Mach 1!

When I saw you starting to come back I was like WTF mate? I knew 5th gear was bad for the Mach but didn't think it was that bad. Then I asked Deon if he was still in it and he said, "nah, maybe 1/4 throttle".
Yeah, my fuel pump is maxed, and I don't like running too hard in 5th and risk to fuel cut off b/c my rev limiter is set about 800rmp sooner than I'm used to. Gotta upgrade lol.

Other than that, normally 4th will go to ~140, and 5th...well, we'll see.
