Default motherboard component help...wtf is this?? ha

so i'm trying to hook up a touchscreen module that i have to my desktop pc but i can't figure out how to make the physical connection... the screen is a sharp lq150x1dg16 and connects to a epm-1580-1203 (pictures) on the old motherboard (pulled the touch screen from and old point of sale PC)...i can't find anything but a ton of spec sheets on google.

do these connections look familiar to anyone?? any idea what i need to look for, PCI or USB options for the connection? i don't see anything like it on the new motherboard. seems to be some sort of hardwired USB or VGA connection??

sorry the pictures are so blurry, they were the best of many that i tried to take...i left them big to show any and all possible details, no i will not resize them.

in the picture; the "busy" side of the pictured board all plugs straight to the monitor and one connection to the power supply. on the side with the stickers on it, there are two connectors that went straight to pins sticking out of the old motherboard...there are two 2x7pin connectors, the black square is just a cushion, there was a screw running through the hole that kept the connection to the main board solid....

beyond that, ask and i can try to answer...hoping someone can help, i'm more of a settings and tweaks kinda guy...pretty much a virgin at this 'building' stuff
