This is probably the end of it. To be honest, this will go nowhere. Neither of the two parties actually knows what happened. No one knows if JF sold you a bad engine just like no one knows if it got messed up in the install on your end. OP, I'm inclined to go with Mike and just say this is a loss in your corner.
