Default spotted a GUTTED!!! dc2 usdm ITR

DOES THIS BELONG TO ANYBODY FROM IA??!??!??!
Found this sitting in front of a real crappy looking impound yard ,I'm assumed the police had taken it there judging by the wrighting on the windows

but who ever got a hold of this knew what they were doing
EVERYTHING IS GONE!!!!!!except the sheet metal I wish I'd got a better pic of the inside but I was feeling kinda of weird ,cuz mexicans on the inside of the fence were looking at me and when I opened the car to take a pice of insurance info they started yelling at me in mexican (I know its really called spanish)

it also has a TowHitch on it....kinda weird?!??!

pics are from my Iphone if anyone gives a sh!t

SCROLL DOWN (PICS)......THANKS TURBO FOR RESIZING PICS

Damn, thats the same neighborhood my boss lives in up in Cumming. That really blows. I feel bad for her, I cant believe it hadnt been recovered yet IF she had already reported it stolen.

    That really sucks.

I thought the ITR had the diode in the key making the more difficult to steal???
yes??no?? ......I know some of the thieves have master keys but that would
just get you in the car & turn the ignition, but without the CORRECT diode it would never crank??? or do these guy replace the OEM ecu with their own ecu

I believe that is only on 2001 type R's. To take the 2001's you haft to bring a steering column with you with a key and swap it out. Then drive off in your stolen car.

just call the number on the insurance card if you want to get ahold of the owner.

and i would recommened pulling that pic off the net too. i wouldn't want someone knowing my home address as well as phone number.

97-98 didn't have the chip in the key.

and even if they did, there's a real easy bypass to steal the 00-01's as well.

This goes for all integras, and probably all years of honda vehicles in the US fyi.

I wonder how much that shell will go for.....

That sucks, I actually saw a yellow one a while back at an auto auction, and that car didn't even have any body panels, glass, or any pieces for that matter. That car was literally stripped to a point where you cannot take anymore parts off.
