    lol..... Well Im sure you could take a tripod, but I dont know if you would have enough time to use it. I dont know if you could still do it with a monopod. I had one in the car that day.

    So did you go through it without going with a tour guide? That would be awesome. I just thought it was mandatory!

    Now that yall are talking about monopods.....I picked me up a new one the other day. It's a Manfrotto with the trigger and ball head. I like it a lot. It's very light and works good. I wanted the one that is both a mono and a tri, but they didn't have it in stock and I'm an impulsive buyer.... I think that would be cool because it's the best of both worlds.

    I also saw a very pimp CF monopod that was even lighter than mine, but was crazy expensive too. I had to leave that one wit 'em.

    BTW, I'm claustrophobic and Ruby falls was murder on me, although I bet pics in there could really be incredible. I was just happy to get out alive....

    dude, Im sorry but you wanted words of advice, but there is just nothing really to say. The photo is a bit hazy, there is a waterhose that can be seen under the car. The thing that sticks out in the photo is the shed in the back along with the garbage can.

    Two of The Lost Sea in Tennesse. This place was pretty cool, and I would pick it over Ruby falls. The tour guide was a lot better then the chick from Ruby.



    This is the best I could do with no pod and pretty dark lighting, 5sec shutter, and a railing to shoot from!

    EDIT: btw this was just taken with a plane 5 mp digital camera, nothing special. i was surprised at how it turned out though.

    I've got a few more here, these were just a few of the nice ones. I notice you end up taking more than one pic of the same thing just to find which angle/lighting is the best to use. Good thing I've got enough memory on the card.
