So did you go through it without going with a tour guide? That would be awesome. I just thought it was mandatory!

Now that yall are talking about monopods.....I picked me up a new one the other day. It's a Manfrotto with the trigger and ball head. I like it a lot. It's very light and works good. I wanted the one that is both a mono and a tri, but they didn't have it in stock and I'm an impulsive buyer.... :D I think that would be cool because it's the best of both worlds.Quote:

BTW, I'm claustrophobic and Ruby falls was murder on me, although I bet pics in there could really be incredible. I was just happy to get out alive....
thanks for the kind words

Good pics from all! :goodjob:
thats fine... i dont take offense if its the truth.. thanks for that.

Its more artistic then the other, but your contrast is a bit on the loud side(too much)
Keep working on it.
playin around over the weekend...
cute kid and girl up there.
nice pics all around.
yeah i kinda half-assed the editing but i have a feeling there's potential in that pic i posted.
Two of The Lost Sea in Tennesse. This place was pretty cool, and I would pick it over Ruby falls. The tour guide was a lot better then the chick from Ruby.
This is the best I could do with no pod and pretty dark lighting, 5sec shutter, and a railing to shoot from!

Not too bad for a 3yr old 4MP camera! I gotta go and get a new one though.

the way the shore line bends on that photo made it look super wide angle to me at first, thats really cool
here's my attempt at it

I've got a few more here, these were just a few of the nice ones. I notice you end up taking more than one pic of the same thing just to find which angle/lighting is the best to use. Good thing I've got enough memory on the card.
As usual comments/critism appreciated.

Proof megapixels don't really matter! (unless you plan on printing posters) :goodjob:Quote:

I love the Lumix lense on this camera, but do plan on upgrading to maybe a d50 if I can find one cheap.

I was trying to get the plane, but I was just too far away. So instead of discarding the pic, I figured I'd make the best of it (plus it was the only one I took :D ).
