Can someone help me correct this?

There you go. Your camera was resizing the pic when it compressed the jpeg. Always make sure and shoot at full res and let Flickr do the resizing.

I was actually manually setting it to a lower or higher res. just for the hell of it in the different pics. I wasn't realizing at the time what I was doing as far as quality.

Just as an FYI, these larger files will take up more space on your hard drive, so you'll want to keep that in check

I won't take a lot of them at higher. I just wanted to find out as I was asked to take 10-15 pics of my car for an E-zine and wanted presentable shots. Thanks for your help, Andy. And thanks also to you, RBS, for chiming in, man. Later, QD.
