My house is 39 years old. We are the only owners this house has ever had having bought it in 1973. These window are the original windows. The only ones this house ever known. Even the glass has never been broken, lolol.
Wednesday, some folks are coming by to install those replacement windows. We're getting the triple-pane set up throughout the house. I decided, with the investment amount as much as it is, that I wanted to get do a pictorial documentation of this move. So below are the pictures of the house as it sits now with the 39 year old windows. Wednesday, I'll be taking pictures of the installation itself followed by pictures of the aftermath.
***EDIT!!!***
The folks just left and we have all the new windows in. They're quite nice. You could tell a difference in the windows as soon as they put them in. They really opened up the rooms big time. Not having the glass separated into panes also made a huge difference. Seems to be more viewing area. Very cool shit this is. The last pic is of the window flipped inward. It's actually still mounted just flipped in for cleaning. Every one of the windows do this. Later, QD.
