Here's the tablets the 10 commandments were written on so that is proof." No he sat down with sinners, prostitutes, and tax collectors and ate with them. He built a relationship with people and then talked to them about who he was. So in answer to your query I would say neither because I don't think Jesus would choose either of the options. I choose to love people and love God. Somebody somewhere in the Bible said that was important. And through that love for the people I share the love of God.
