So, I'm curious to know who has, who hasn't, and who has tried to do online dating. I will admit about maybe 3 years or so ago, I tried an online dating website. It didn't last long because 1. they are so lame, 2. I ended up finding someone anyway, and 3. I'm not paying for that shit!
Do you think it's ok to find someone online?

Well my thought is how is the "ONE" gonna be the same place you are? ie:city, state, or country maybe that is why some people date online to extended there range to finding someone. I dont think its lame to date online cause your still getting a real life aspect even tho its threw a screen your still talking to a real person. But depending were the person is and the situation determins how the relationship will work out it will vary to person to person as for me I havent gone to those "paying" sites. I have used playstaion HOME and I didnt use it to pick up chicks only as a social thing till I talked to this one girl; everything is going great now we dont use the playstaion HOME to talk now we use the phone to text or call and everything is going great, and we have plan to meet each other in the near future. sorry if I didnt answer your question I do believe I went off to a different tangent than what is it suppose to be.

But seriously I've only dated 2 guys from online and they were from IA. I was too successful at the sites. But I wouldn't mind dating someone else from online if it were more like this site. At least I know I can see them

On a real note Ive been in a 5 year relationship that finally ended almost 3 weeks ago. Im not wanting to get into a serious relationship at this point but if it happens it happens. Right now Im looking for more of a physical than emotional one. But we'll see what happens plus im not excusive to anyone just yet..

I'm on a dating website... I'm just about over it though because most people you connect with are just too far away to make dating easy. But the one I use is free, so its not like I'm losing money by participating in it.

Shits weak. Online dating is for people that can't get someone in real life so they make a profile that makes them look better, richer, and smarter.
This mainly applies to actual dating websites. Meeting via facebook and myspace can be pretty creepy/stalkerish.

Internet dating seems cool, but not for me.
Pros - You know everyone on the site is fair game since they are looking for someone. It makes "da game" easier. You can weed out the ones you like without wasting your time.
Cons- It makes you look lame (as a guy) since you can't pull a female in person. You can't really "figure out" a person by a picture or profile. Can also be dangerous.

not true, i work around 60 hours per week then i have my son friday-monday so i have no time to go out and meet anyone and a sure as hell dont wanna meet someone in a bar, also i am 100% honest on my profile too. i used a dating site cause im to busy.
