I think online dating is acceptable... most of the couples I know met through some kind of website... facebook, myspace, forums, or whatever.

I'm on a dating website... I'm just about over it though because most people you connect with are just too far away to make dating easy. But the one I use is free, so its not like I'm losing money by participating in it.
