The G27 is going to be clear winner IMO out of those 3. I carry a G26 quite often, in +1 config, w/o a single worry. It's all in how you handle your hardware.
For the money you'll spend on a good revolver, you should stick to the G27 for many reasons. I sometimes carry a revolver on an ankle holster as back-up. Even with +P, it's not what I would prefer to have if the chips are down. Don't get me wrong, it will get the job done for sure, but I have many other better choices to grab first.
You can pick up a G27 for $500 or less, especially if used. I have a G26 and a G32 and like them both a lot.
Good luck on your choice.

Not the same thing, but I just saw a G22 for $325 used on another site. I might pick that one up. On that same site, they regularly have Glocks from NIB to used from that $325 to just shy of $500. Hey frog I've owned tons of pistols. I currently own a glock 27 as my CC, and have been very happy with it so far. It's light and small, and is actually fairly accurate for a semi auto pistol with a short barrel. I've never had good luck with beretta's, and kel-tecs are crap in my opinion.

I've always liked Glocks...untill I started shooting XDs that is. Out of the three, XD FTW. A revolver is also a really good choice for a CCW. I would def recommend a revolver if you're not experienced with hand guns too. Even though my XD has never jammed (knock on wood), I'd rather have the reliability of a revolver if I needed to pull it and shoot. And as far as revolver, I like a S&W or Ruger .357. They can shoot .38 for cheap target practice. Good luck.

Umm, the XD wasn't a choice.....
A jam is only caused by one of 3 things wrong: Dirty weapon (your fault), very bad ammo (again, your fault), and mechanical malfunction of the weapon (may or may not be your fault). I'd venture to say that I've shot, in my lifetime which is ancient compared to most of you. It can't feed a HP to save it's life. So guess what? I only shoot FMJ out of it. Never jams on those. It's a POS gun that I'd NEVER carry for self-defense, so it doesn't matter to me. Point is that I've shot, found it's weakness, and worked around it. There are very simple things that can be done to most semi-automatics to help them feed more reliably and avoid the dreaded ammo sensitive situation. Besides, you can usually clear a jam by racking the slide back hard and raking a new round in. The only exception is if the gun is having mechanical malfunction, such as bad ejectors or double feed.
Anyway, that's my. Get the Glock and you'll be perfectly fine.

I agree with your paragraph about "jams", but from what I've gathered, the OP isn't really experienced with guns. So while you (aka an experienced person) can quickly clear a jam (or prevent them, like you were saying), it's an even bigger preventive to just have a revolver. But that's just my

i just dont like how small the 27 feels. i carry a 29 and its bigger and fits my hand a lot better. i did however get the sf version so its similar to a 27 in width. i do like the glocks and they are very reliable and can survive some serious torture.

the glocks have the loaded round indicator just like the xd does as well. Out of those, id definiately take the 27; i just feel like its too small. Have you handled possibly a 23?

I'm 39. I've hunted since I was a teen. I was in Law Enforcement for a short stint. I used to collect guns.....actually that was the excuse I used to justify to my wife why I had so many of them...I also used to compete, rather heavily, in both USPSA and Pin shooting competitions. I used to have a pretty cool setup for reloading all my own stuff just for those competitions. I competed in both rimfire and big bore competitions. I still have my rimfire "race gun" (not really a race gun though), which is just a Browning Buckmark 5.5 with a Red Dot and a little trigger and ramp work to speed it up.
So yes, I'd venture to guess that I have shot quite a few rounds so far......
I have a Glock 26 and it's a Glock. Don't rule out the Sig 239 or the Walther PPS.
I've owned both glock's and XD's. To me the XD seems a little unbalanced compared to glocks. That's why I carry my glock 27 as my CC instead of my XDM-.40. The XDM stays in the safe and is usually only shot by friends when we go shooting and they don't have anything to shoot...

ok, im speaking from the experience of kel-tecs. i own the PF-9 and carry it daily. i also have shot the kel-tec .32,.380, and the 40. they are all great shooting guns for protection, and in comparison are lighter and smaller than many of the other guns available(and you dont pay a higher price.)
if you are wanting a gun to really put a LOT of rounds through at the range, stay away from the kel-tec. that is not what it is made for and will not hold up long term.
i am about to make a purchase of a 40 and have looked at the glock, baretta, taurus and sig. i like the way the glock shoots, but i appreciate the sig and baretta a little more, and a taurus is cheaper.. so i am in some what the same situation you are in deciding between a few different guns
Keltec is a pile. Gun shops will sell them very few will buy them back. Id say a kahr or possibly a walther ppks. I carry a glock 23 daily. Sometimes switch it up between other guns i own. But from whats on your list id say the glock is the one to go with. Definately check out Kahr and Walther since from what ive seen your looking for a small frame gun.
They make a baseplate extender that goes on the bottom of glock 27 mags that is an extension for the pinky. And it allows you to hold 1 extra round. It makes the 27 feel a lot better in your hands. I say go with the glock 27 out of those personally.
I bought a Kel-Tec P3AT for concealed carry a while back because my M&P showed pretty bad through the clothes in summer time. But I ended up getting rid of the Kel-Tec for a few reasons, and I just got a better, more concealable holster for my HK. I can conceal my fullsize 40 without you knowing it was there and can still draw it with ease.
