I honestly cannot wait, I love to travel and being a part of an aircrew is a dream come true. Not to mention applying for pilot will become that much easier since I'll have a good understanding of aircrew operations.. it surely doesn't guarantee me a position but it betters my chances.

airforce pilot training is no joke, and very strenuous - IF - you get accepted, be prepared to not have a life until you graduate. Having an understanding of how an aircrew operates is helpful as far as being comfortable in flight -BUT- honestly has nothing to do with being a pilot. *best of luck*

I meant aircrew helps in the process of applying, not the training. I know that the training is a different story and basically a year of non-stop work.. if given the chance I have zero doubts I would make it.
