Yep, I'm an accountant. To be more specific I am the head of accounting for the entire US division of a European supply chain management software company. We develop, sell, implement and maintain software for stores of all kinds. Some small and some that are huge, hundreds of stores and I guarantee everyone here has been in at least one.

Anyway, I do everything. I have the money. Financial statements, budgeting and forecasting, payroll, invoicing, AR and AP, everything. I am a bit of a control freak so I don't let anything under my department get past me. I've been with the company for 5.5 years.. started off when I was still working in public accounting and my company was a client. They liked me so much they hired me and paid for my move to Atlanta. Very lucky.

It's a pretty nice job. I get a window to look out of all day, plenty of vacation, flexible hours and occasionally, a trip to one of our many offices in Europe. As the company grows, my job changes and I have to adapt and figure out new ways to do things all the time.
Do they have any internships? lol
