so hit your human child BUT DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH A DOG!!!! please man... it's the same concept. if done in the right manner and at the right time, it's just as productive... the difference is you can punish a child well after they have done wrong because they know they have done wrong... an animal/dog you need to scold as the incident happens so that it knows what it did wrong.

again, i'm not saying you should skull stomp the dog...

Maybe you should do your research before acting like you know what your talking about.

You said before that your dog doesn't stay with you, so what do you know about training him?

EDIT: You shouldn't have to hit a dog to show him who the "Alpha" is. There are plenty more effective ways, that will get you A LOT farther with your dog and they will actually respect you.
my dog lived with me, went to work with me, ate with me, went to bed when i did for 7months straight. i still see him every weekend...

whether you approve or not, my dog respects me.. i've never hurt him, and he absolutely loves me. so i'm not too worried what you think about my methods... outdated or not.. it's worked fine for me...

oh and i guess you want me to pin my dog to the floor and bite him to prove who the alpha dog is?? lol... and i've done research bud, i've spoken to enough trainers and vets to know what i should and or shouldn't do to my dog.
besides, i'd says he's got it a lot better than a lot of other pits out there...
