I hope I don't come off to cocky but to all the people who discredit the gound game you really need to rethink your game plan. I mean do you know that over 70% of fights end up on the ground. How many one kick, pressure point, punches do you really see. If you watch any kind of real fighting Pride, UFC, WEC etc... you will see just how important the ground game is. If you have a bad ground game you better have one hell of a sprawl (like Chuck Lidell) if not YOU WILL eventually go down and then you're screwed. There is no better example of this then in the early 90's when Royce Gracie dominated everyone for years because they were so confident in their striking ability or whatever style that they used they refused to learn any BJJ and got whooped. I think to be a great fighter you need to know BJJ and a mix of kickboxing/Muay Thai, boxing and wrestiling. All that other stuff is just a bunch of junk to me and it's provin to be ineffective in the cage.
