By chance have you been cooking on an electric stove the last few times and possibly on gas before? Electric stoves suck, their heat cannot be controlled properly...
i was thinking that had something to do with it. the first time was gas but the last two were electric but also on the last time i did it, the eye was already heated up so, idk.
