there are plenty 450whp neons that are daily drivers and are stock block...people have gotten 500 to the wheels stock block and have been fine for 2 years...i dont call that weak

i'll give it to the rb26...its an amazing motor. but they dont even make aftermarket rods/pistons for a rb20? why? lol....

Well the SRT-4 I dont think would handle very well because of current aspects of the car. One of them being torque steer like a mother fucker...My car (Spec V) torque steers like a mother fucker at ~156 fwhp with about 166 torque, just think of it with about 220 - 230, and if you up the boost on the stock motors you can get like 250hp out of them...
Better build car, great for straight lines stock, but might not handle very well due to it being an american car and it have shit tons of torque steer.
The S14 would be handle better more than likely and you could take it to drift events due to the RWD, but will be slow as shit...
So in the end it is all about what you are going to do with the car. I would pick the SRT-4 and not do anything to the motor and work mainly on the suspension. I have been driving FWD cars since I got my linc. so the whole torque steer thing doesnt bother me as much as most...

yeah and i offered u a 40 kick but u said u didnt street race but posted the night before u tried to race a mustang but he didnt want none.
that was spur of the moment and NO ONE was around...everytime you guys go street racing cops come...I am not down with that shit, I have been busted 2 times and cannot afford to get busted again...SO I offered you the following:
1. a race on ANY road course of your choice
2. Only on a weekend that I dont have to work
3. has to be 100% legal

nothing is stock on his car but the sway bars, the strut bars, the bottom end, the turbo, the ecu, the boost, the cams, the head, the exhaust manifold, the intake manifold, the exhaust, the DP, the shifter, the throttle body and so on...

but my car runs 22psi, front and rear hotchkiss sways, front and rear srut tower bars, eibach srings and poly bushings
I ran my car on Black Hills which is pretty much a go cart track...its small as hell...I actually did really good considering I blew out my rear coilovers on that damn track...
I want to run on a larger track, but he has the choice...the smaller the better for me.

So it is like a big autoX course in other words?
In this case you most def have an advantage handling wise. Also if chad doesnt keep the boost up he will bog down and loose accel and loose his advantage on the straighter portions, where as you have all motor (not sure I dont think you have said) and dont have to worry about that to much...

I was building the car for track use and not daily driving. As soon as I get a new DD it will not be road legal anymore..I have no choice but to drive it..the car weighed in at 2400 LBS with me in it and a full tank of gas at the weigh station.

I didnt upgrade the rear, I did do the rear upgrade but I didnt like it and took it off. The car handles very well and is very predictable.
I also forgot that one thing with me and him racing on a road course...

I can also out brake him and dont feel like being rear ended..again
