Well the SRT-4 I dont think would handle very well because of current aspects of the car. One of them being torque steer like a mother fucker...My car (Spec V) torque steers like a mother fucker at ~156 fwhp with about 166 torque, just think of it with about 220 - 230, and if you up the boost on the stock motors you can get like 250hp out of them...
Better build car, great for straight lines stock, but might not handle very well due to it being an american car and it have shit tons of torque steer.
The S14 would be handle better more than likely and you could take it to drift events due to the RWD, but will be slow as shit...
So in the end it is all about what you are going to do with the car. I would pick the SRT-4 and not do anything to the motor and work mainly on the suspension. I have been driving FWD cars since I got my linc. so the whole torque steer thing doesnt bother me as much as most...

In this case you most def have an advantage handling wise. Also if chad doesnt keep the boost up he will bog down and loose accel and loose his advantage on the straighter portions, where as you have all motor (not sure I dont think you have said) and dont have to worry about that to much...

I was building the car for track use and not daily driving. As soon as I get a new DD it will not be road legal anymore..I have no choice but to drive it..the car weighed in at 2400 LBS with me in it and a full tank of gas at the weigh station.

I didnt upgrade the rear, I did do the rear upgrade but I didnt like it and took it off. The car handles very well and is very predictable.
I also forgot that one thing with me and him racing on a road course...
