if you were the one making the threat last month and were there today ur all a bunch of fucking shitz cuz no one did shit and the burnouts went on
so fuck all you trash talkers and fuck all you dum shits who do burnouts
I would have stopped them had I been there, but the V is just getting too out of hand. I'll be damned if I'm going to keep bringing my car up there only to risk having someone fuck with it. Then again, I am a 30 year old man. Maybe I should come and stop them one time. I wonder how quickly I can get the police there... It's all about who you know and what you say.

the cops never showed up... they basically cant do anything until the parking lot owners call them. its private property.

Of course they can do something, the law doesn't end at property lines. There are any number of reasons the cops could go in there and breaking it up - the noise, for example. I live a block away from the V and I can hear the burnouts loud and clear all night long. I think they're funny, but I know a lot of people around here hate it, and if enough residents complain about the noise they'll do something about it.

Personally, I think the cops tolerate the V because it's only once a month and they'd rather see kids blowing off steam in a parking lot by doing burnouts than have to deal with them out street racing.

People think that they are immune because it is private property, but that's not really the case.

When your "smoke" starts to go across Spring St., it is affecting the vision of those who drive on a state owned, public street. THAT is highly illegal. But shit, what do I know?

hmm if the cops have any "feeling" of something illegal going on they can step foot on to "private property"

Especially if they can see it with their own eyes before entering the property. I can assure you that no cop will stand by and watch people stand in front of cars while they do burnouts; private property or not.

I get if the cars are putting out enough smoke to "obstruct the vision of drivers on the street". but what's law against doing "burnouts" on a private parking lot?

p.s. in now way do I support or condone the "burnouts". 1 of the many reasons I don't go to the varsity.
