    Of course they can do something, the law doesn't end at property lines. There are any number of reasons the cops could go in there and breaking it up - the noise, for example. I live a block away from the V and I can hear the burnouts loud and clear all night long. I think they're funny, but I know a lot of people around here hate it, and if enough residents complain about the noise they'll do something about it.

    Personally, I think the cops tolerate the V because it's only once a month and they'd rather see kids blowing off steam in a parking lot by doing burnouts than have to deal with them out street racing.
