You can and can't take those times seriously. If you want REAL times, look at the Nurburgring times.
you are correct sir, they don't list on the list on the TOP GEAR site about track conditions, but they do mention them in the review write up if i'm not mistaken... now here is the compiled list w/ track conditions below:

Note: The following laps were clocked with the tested vehicle configured for maximum performance. That is to say, all adjustable suspensions were set at their most efficient, all gear shift maps were at their most aggressive, and driving aids such as traction control were deactivated. These lap times do not offer entirely reliable comparisons between the cars - the conditions are far from controlled.

either way you can get the idea; quite a few cars have had to run in wet conditions.

Still off. They gave it a "2" for wet. I assure you that it was a "3" for VERY wet. Just look at the pictures in the link. Heck, I have the video where it is raining so hard that it is difficult to see the track. Then again, we know how biased Jeremy is against the 911...

i have to agree on the track conditions....it was rather horrendous (sp?) out...and yes Clarkson tends to not like the 911 very much...but he did love the 997 carrera (after he mocked it...till no end)...

He concedes it has great performance in his written review of the new 911, but according to him it lacks soul that many other cars, namely italian, have.
