I don't know if you were dicking with me or not... The average salary for someone starting out with an undergraduate is around 30-40k... Shitty? Sure. However, I do intend on getting my phd and opening my own practice, in which case the salary range is 100k +

Doesn't sound like "shitty" pay to me, especially considering it's something I enjoy. To each their own i suppose.
