and yeah qd, those huge dump trucks are amazing.
they'd get the same gas mileage as any diesel dump truck if not better considering it's less weightOriginally Posted by theskinnyone
and the mxt is sick as hell dude...i would drive that thing any day
wow that pic made me wonder how you would go about mounting a tire on a wheel/tire combo that big.
There is a guy here in T-Town Alabama...who has a CXT....IT is very nice.....All it is is a Chevy Body on an International Frame ( as in the 18 wheelers)...Holla

It involves a duckbill sledge hammer and a specialty tool (or two 36in pry bars that are specially made for changing these tires). They are changed on the ground and tires can only be mounted and dismounted from the backside of the rim. It is tricky at first and if you dont learn how to use leverage to your advantage it will work the shit out of you. I use to change tractor trailer tires, as well as consruction and agriculture equipment tires everyday. I use to drive a service truck and had to change them onsite.Originally Posted by never_finished
Hey man I'm not trying to start anything with you, but we try not to post any nudity without posting a "Not Work Safe" warning, so people who are looking on here while at work do not get in trouble. Its a courtesy that we pass along to everyone.Originally Posted by CLEAN-ASS-EK

You know it would be funny as hell to have one of those, parked in front of your house....lol and wait for the Neighbors to freak out..adn get the HOme Owners Association.
most tires over a certain size are 2 piece wheels...all you gotta do is undo the bolts and seperate the wheel then put the wheel with a new gasket around the new tire and tighten down the bolts and fill it with air

some of those are huge.
i dont even know what you'd use them for other than just to have them. i mean im sure you culd pull some mean trailers with them, but gas miliage has to SUCK.

as for mounting the tires on the rims, those tires are generally solid rubber so the rim comes apart and just gets bolted back together around the tire.

The MXT is one sick looking truck, I would drive it as a tow vehicle, but only after I get a vehicle that is trailer worthy.
