    I moved here in '98, so about 9 years. (Damn, it's hard to believe it's been that long...) I don't care for the redneck mentality, nor the "spirit of dixie" but the weather (as unpredictable as it is) and overall scenery is much better than that of my birthplace, Tampa, Florida. Not to mention there's actually a change in elevation in Georgia, where as in Florida you're usually driving straight, on flat land, at sea level.

    Born here in '85. Grew up in Marietta until I was about 10, when we moved to Peachtree City. I cant believe how much the Atlanta area has changed just while I've been alive.

    Peachtree City went from being a relatively quiet boring town with few big businesses and a lot of greenspace to being a large boring town with everything you could think of (but it all closes at 9PM )
