I moved here in '98, so about 9 years. (Damn, it's hard to believe it's been that long...) I don't care for the redneck mentality, nor the "spirit of dixie" but the weather (as unpredictable as it is) and overall scenery is much better than that of my birthplace, Tampa, Florida. Not to mention there's actually a change in elevation in Georgia, where as in Florida you're usually driving straight, on flat land, at sea level.
