Well light 'em up, let's make it a memorable ride.
In all seriousness though, I hope people can laugh and make jokes at my expense when I die. Life is meant to be lived, make it enjoyable and make it memorable, I don't want people standing around talking about how good of a life I lived, I want people to talk about how they wished they could have enjoyed life as much as I did. We can all crack jokes about the rice fest that is F&F but the fact is most of us have seem them all, and enjoyed them, and if I had to hazard a guess I'd bet he had a pretty good time making them. Condolences to his family and friends, I know it's a tough time for them, but its abundantly clear that he was loved, and loved what he did, as an actor and as a man.
I never understood why death is such a taboo topic, especially for a culture that is predominantly religious and believes that death is the gate to another life.
Me personally, i'd rather die from flipping my motorcycle off the side of a mountain than in a hospital bed old and sick. I hope my friends do burn outs at my funeral and toast shots to my memory. We're all gonna die.... no need to be babies about it.

I just look it at slightly different, 3 months ago, me and four other friends were hanging out at the Chattahoochee River and one of my friends drowned right in front of us. There isn't a day I do not think about the accident or my friend. Yes by all means live your life to the fullest, life is very short.

Dude idk what happened, but it seems like every forum I've ever signed up to has died except for skateboard-city & rx7club. People just don't like forums? it's weird...
holy crap I just made a post like this lol.
buttfuck yea die doing what you love doing. Not getting robbed at gun point
If i had to put my finger on it...... the gap between this forum and some of the forums that appear to have infinite staying power, is information. Some of the nissan and rx7 forums are libraries of information about car building.
This forum has a good number of people that have a great deal of knowledge about car building, but unfortunately, most people dont view this forum as a place to come ask those type of questions. This is viewed more of a hangout spot / local event planner.
The problem with social network forums like this one is that they've basically been killed off by Facebook, etc.
Only the real tight-knit local forums have survived, and when IA had it's issues, it couldn't have happened at a worse time. Not to mention, a lot of forum 'regulars' from the early 2000's when the scene was huge have either grown up and moved on, or just keep close connections with their good friends from the old days and don't bother with the BS that the new crowd has brought in.
At least that's my take on it.

Yeah, that's true.......
but i feel like i've been having that same argument for over 10 years now. I remember everyone complaining about ricers, young kids and the crap the "new crowd" brought in back when fast and furious 1 was still in the movie theaters.
Look at a place like nicoclub.... that forum never falls off. I'm sure those people know about facebook too.
