I am a Junior in High school and I was sitting in a class doing my work, the class was cold so i had my hood on and all the Sudden I hear the teacher call out my name and says " RAMAZAN TAKE UR HOOD OFF, YOU LOOK LIKE A TERRORIST" As soon as he said that, the whole class turned around, dropped what they were talking about and all starred at me and was like " damn did he really just say that" and started laughing and tweeting about it. I was very humiliated and embarrassed, the fact that I am a Muslim and from a different country makes it even worst.
My question is, should I go to the school with my Mom tomorrow and speak to the teacher? What do you guys recommend me doing?

If it was me, i wouldnt think twice about it. A thick skin is MANDATORY in this world we live in, and if you're getting your feelings hurt by someone making a joke, then you're going to have real issues in the outside world....

Teachers are scared to be real people because of folks like you. It was probably a joke- regardless not worth risking/losing his job over. With the way outrage gets viral on the internets, you never know what woulda happened.

if that doesn't work, tell him to kick rocks and report him. Taking your mom to deal with it is about the worst possible thing you can do.

Do you have ANY clue how much hell you would get for bringing you mommy to school at the HS I went to? With as thin skinned as you are, you would have gone all columbine by the end of the first day.
For real though, if this offends you this much, you should never leave your mommy's basement. You wont be able to handle the real world.
If you are in 11th grade and want to bring your mom to school to deal with a teacher you need to grow up, And you being muslim is gonna make you a target anyways but that your just gonna have to learn to deal with, Im part mexican and part white and i look more mexi than white and i have been the target of racist jokes my whole life, Hell a lot of people in my family are racist. Oh and when i was in school you couldnt wear a hoody in class or hats.
