Joking or not, I would involve your parents. That's a line you do NOT cross in a teacher student relationship.
What is your behavior history in the class? I am only hearing your side. As a former teacher, I have to hear all sides.

That was the first time he has said that. He is my Weekly teacher. Its like a study class, I only go in that class to do my own work. Literally i've never spoke with the teacher just " hey mr turner, " bye mr. Turner" So i see him once a week, never in my life i've had a talk with him. But yes I was thinking about telling my mom and having a talk with the principle
Back in my day is you were not allowed to wear hats/hoodies in class. Dunno if that's still the case. But anyway, I think if everyone had thicker skin the world would be a better place. I personally think always having to watch what you say because of "political correctness" is bullshit. Teacher didn't smack you around, didn't threaten you with physical harm. Maybe he was just trying to make a joke (albeit a poor one) so he doesn't come off as the "overbearing" teacher while still getting you not to wear a damn hoodie in his class. I would speak to the teacher man to man tomorrow before/after class and tell him that it made you uncomfortable and you would appreciate him refraining from doing it again. No need to get mom or the principle involved unless the teacher completely blows you off after that.
I also find that eating bacon helps clear my mind after a stressful day. Try that.

I could see why it hurt you. It's like calling a black guy the 'n' word. But, it's easier to take these things lightly. If it bothered you, just tell the teacher how you felt. And ask him what he would do to make you feel better (Hint: grades, no HW, etc). No need to make a big deal out of it. Look at it as an opportunity and make the best out of it.
