so..... all you smart asses out there..... not as easy to find a car as nice as mine for your imaginary price is it????????

offering to give you $50 and you still cant do it.

imagine how absolutely fucking laughable this would be if i made this a $5000 challenge, which is what some of you delusional morons think my car is worth.

Challenge stands till friday...... $50 to the winner. Mods can ban me if i dont make good on my claim.

Honestly i dont think its got much to do with the rarity, but more than anything the sheer AGE of the cars now. Just like EFs i dearly love. a s13 is at the newest 19 years old now! Most of the people who have wanted to modify one have already done so, and finding a unmolested chassis isnt always easy.

We're not arguing about bigfoot... the lockness monster or some other creature that cant be seen or evaluated. You can find out what s13s cost by looking at the auto market right now. if you took the time to do that, you would see that busted and abused cars go for $2k-3.5k, avg conditioned swap cars go for 4k-5k, nice stock swap cars go for 6k-7k, Cars as nice and nicer than mine...... which very few even exist....... how can you price them with the pack? Every s13 i see that i think is a better car than mine, cost 12-20k and has a 4 page spread in a magazine. I have a 19 year old car with paint like glass that looks as new as a 2012 inside and out. Age doesnt matter for reconditioned vehicles. You cant apply miles and age to a Chevelle the same way you can with a honda accord. The problem with most of you is that you're simply not ready to think of a s13 like a chevelle. People obviously like s13s, 20 years later theyre arguably still one of the most popular cars on the road. Go buy a s13 for $5k then come park it beside mine, lets see how that works out for you.

LOL i will never put a 240 in the same catagory as a chevelle! You has obviously been droped on your head a time or two if you do, well that would explain the whole riding tebos sack thing. I still think of 240s as absolete beat to shit piles of shit that are worth 500 to 1000 bucks if you pay more you paid to much,

There's piece of shit chevelles just like there's piece of shit Nissans. Comparing the age factor more than the mystique. I understand a Chevelle is a more historic and desired car. i can buy a piece of shit chevelle for $2000 too..... i guess all chevelles are worth $2000.

point is..... not every chevelle is an amazing piece of rolling automobile history. You can find Chevelles in the slums too. The problem with your opinion..... is that you think **every** s13 is junk.

Chevelles are cheap pieces of shit, rust bucket junk that isnt worth shit. I wouldnt pay $1000 for a chevelle.

Thats what guys like Silversol does........ find the cheapest worst example of a car and apply its value to any car that anyone ever owns of that make if he doesnt like it. My s13 could go on overhaulin, be customized by chip foose, leave chip foose's garage to go be gold dipped and hand signed by Carroll Shelby.....

To him it would still be a $2000 piece of shit.

None of those cars you posted as "comparisons" are worth their asking price. Don't get me wrong, I think you're asking a fair price for your car if everything is as you say it is. I tried to sell mine once for $7500 before I became discouraged with the selling process and decided to keep the car. Only to sell it much later after the motor popped and got screwed over by a shop to "rebuild" it.

    Problem with pricing/selling 240's is two-fold.

First you have the obligatory drift tax added, because every 16-yr that can convince mommy and daddy to buy them a rwd car is automatically a drifter. If you find that kid, you're lucky.

Second the car has to be priced retard high because 99% of the 240 crowd are broke-ass kids that will low-ball the fuck out of you, so you need wiggle room so Johnny thinks he "stole" the car from you.

You've probably seen it. I mean, how many offers have you gotten that are like "Hey bro, trade 4 a boosted d16 ef hatch wit teggy wheelz? All it needs is blah blah blah"?

Damn bro... You went back to 2005! Inflation needs to factored into the selling price to compare!!

i agree with you, a lot of those cars were way over priced. I agree with all of you statements and know that a lot of 240s are complete pieces of shit. I shop for 240s too, i deal with these same kids, a lot of them get pissed off at me when i tell them to their face the car theyre selling is a piece of shit and walk away from it. My point is, my 240 is in the top 5-10% of 240s, i obviously take better care of my car than the avg kid's drift bucket. I did the same thing with chevelles that silversol does with 240s. I linked a bunch of cheap piece of shit chevelles and then applied a blanket statement to all chevelles.
