I don't even like the idea of Valentine's Day. In my opinion, random acts of kindness on days not specified to be "holidays" are much more effective, meaningful, and appreciated. Cheap candy (marked up 500%), overpriced flowers, and greeting cards filled with someone else's words are nice gestures, but not for me. If you really want to show me that you love me, be dedicated to me on days that you aren't "forced" or "expected" to be.

Werd. I can agree with that. But I'm not sweating Valentines day anywho seeing as I'm flying solo this V-day. FML

There is a candy shop in downtown Covington that has amazing chocolate truffles. I am going to get her a dozen of those and hopefully wont eat them before I give them to her. As for dinner I have no clue but Chianti, which is as authentic as you can get in the states Italian cooking. Domenico's tiramisu and connoli alla siciliana is amazing.

Talking about scoops on the square? That place is A Fucking plus!
