My contribution to hubby's Valentine's day...he loves his car almost as much as he loves me *or does he?!* :p

Anyway, there's a pic of us behind it. I thought the car thing was pretty funny tho.

I don't even like the idea of Valentine's Day. In my opinion, random acts of kindness on days not specified to be "holidays" are much more effective, meaningful, and appreciated. Cheap candy (marked up 500%), overpriced flowers, and greeting cards filled with someone else's words are nice gestures, but not for me. If you really want to show me that you love me, be dedicated to me on days that you aren't "forced" or "expected" to be.

If a calendar has to cue you to "be nice" or give gifts to your significant other, then it's somewhat pointless in my opinion. What's the value?
