if you are getting told you have too much experience after an interview..... your fucking up.....
too much or too little experience is a easy way to say.... we dont like you.... period..
my advice is to shut the fuck up in the interview...
someone who always has something to say about a topic or gives opinions about a interview question other than company policy gets labeled as a person who will not follow procedure...
you might be so eager to make a good impression your going over bored with your answers, talking yourself up, or making yourself look cocky...in a bad way.
generally an interview should be quick and to the point unless its a panel interview.... where you want to show intelligence across the table to all involved.
for my last job.....
i had a 3 minute..... 3 question interview..
guy asked me.... what projects have you worked on..... i ONLY named them..
guy asked me.... whats quality mean to you..... i said quality is right the first time everytime.
guy asked me.... what can you bring to the table and offer this company.... (knowing the buisness and job that im applying for) i responded i will do such and such (the worst job there is to do in my field) for 9 hours a day everyday if need be.
guy say well....... thats about it....interview over
5 minutes later the secretary says your hired and i get my per diem check and im outa there.
thats what people are looking for..... these days...
