As QD and others are getting at, the wreck didnt make this story, the secrecy did. If Tiger came out immediately after the wreck and said he was drunk and was heading to the club for some more, it would have been a 1 day affair and quickly forgotten.

They talked to him at the scene already.

He wasn't drunk - the Troopers already mentioned that in his statement. Furthermore where you are going to and where you are coming from is not required information at a crash unless you are under restricted driving conditions (i.e only can go to work/school).

My understanding is the other way around, J. They came to his house the day after the wreck and the wife told them he was asleep and she set up for the next day to have a meeting. He canceled that one and rescheduled it for 2 days later. He also canceled it. He was the one scheduling and canceling. That's the reason behind the hyp and wondering what's being hidden. Later, QD.
