Qdizzle, in all seriousness...
So you say you have no respect for users- because of their disregard for authority/law.... What about people whom it is not illegal to consume marijuana? Ie medical use, or recreational use in Amsterdam, for example...

This is the problem with people that smoke weed, they are easily distracted by pretty pictures.

i must ask you qd, why do you feel the need to uphold all these laws as you keep saying?
serious question.

If it's legal then there's nothing to say. I hate alcohol but I don't say anything about people getting drunk because alcohol is legal.
Hmmm. Why not? What's wrong with living within the law? Kind of a weird question really. It would have been better if I asked you why you feel the need to break the law? Later, QD.

I dont see why you don't talk about them too. You talk shit to everyone, about anything. Serious question though QD for real. When people get drunk their are highly impaired, unlike weed if you were the highest I've ever been u could still walk a straight line, drive fine , etc u get the point.... Marijuana is honestly have as bad in a real sense than alcohol. People actually get help from smoking weed. Why hate on everyone so much just cause we smoke bud. It's not like were all smoking crack with 5 year olds like u play it off to be. I guess my whole point it when it's legal in a few years are u still going to be a little bitch about just because it's a drug? On a scale of which if overall worse weed<alcohol. Which takes thousands of lives a year?

I ride the fence when it comes to weed. I don't do it, but it doesn't bother me what people do in their own homes. Just like alcohol, don't drive while you're high, or smoke around the kids/underage blah, blah blah...
I mean, it's a plant, the chemically altered drugs that take one thing and make it into something more potent (IE:meth, heroin, crack etc) is where I draw the line.
I drive way better, I'm more aware

Well that's you, I guess. My life is great, so no reason to think differently. Much rather have order than chaos. But that's just me.
Not for you, no. You're an idiot.
Hopefully it'll catch up to you, soon, and you fuck yourself up. Later, QD.
thats the superficial perspective of what I was saying.
I think that morals and ethics are COMPLETELY SEPARATE from laws. Some laws are derived from them, but all laws are tangible, even to a factual level. Every piece of jurisdiction is clearly defined (or at least an attempt is made to) and is completely external and man-made.
On the flip-side, I consider morality an internal thought process. Its part of human psychology, it has existed long before government has.
Not only will they differ from individual to individual, but two different judgments can be "the right judgment" in two different scenarios.
Laws <> Morality
Sure people study ethics in order create legislature, but then again to who's model of ethics are they using? Does it differ from yours?
Sure our country was built on principles of Morality, but that legislation and what we're talking about are completely divergent.
but aside from all of that, dizzle...
I respectfully disagree with your standpoint.
I am not a super weed-supporter or anything, I too find many flaws in it, directly relating to productivity while under the influence. I do not feel it should be banned, simply because I don't think the offenders did anything immoral in consuming it. (from a health, social, psychological, financial standpoint)... What makes it immoral is the ban itself, which gives more power to violent drug cartels,etc.... which brings me to my main point..
I personally believe that Marijuana is intentionally prohibited to maximize profits of those with vested interests. (My honest opinion, call me a conspiracy theorist, I don't care)
Can we get back to women trading me booby and pooper shots for a bowl?

weed was even legal in the 1930s. but all the uses from the male plant aka hemp, nearly shut down the textile industry lol
my thought is that its illegal because it could eradicate a lot of profits for textile producers.

Yup.
I hate sounding like a conspiracy theorist, but it seems like the older I get the more clear "the way things work" become to me. Pot is practically harmless, and impairs you less than lots of other "legal" things out there do as well, so there is really no argument towards its illegalization from a "danger to society" standpoint. There are also foods and other legal substances out there that can be more harmful to you than weed, as well. So while I won't claim to know exactly why we have the laws that we do, I can say that there is DEFINITELY evidence that certain people have a lot of monetary gain (or lack of competition) with it being prohibited.
