So who has been organizing Gwinnett Sonic meet, made it a 100+ cars meet? Have any of y'all stepped up to help out? Any of y'all put money out of your pockets to make that meet better?
Gwinnett Sonic meet has been going on Since 2006, before CRAMERIZKING ever made that thread in 2007.

Though some honest questions...Every event I see you post about events you have put "money out of your pockets" into them. How much is this pocket money... a drink at the local fast food joint? Also if its alot more you must be balling out of control...what do you do for a living? W/e i do with automotive, is side thing for fun because I enjoy it myself. I am not going to making a living off it. What i do for living, i'll keep to myself, but it lets me enjoy what i do. That bug eye wrx has more done to it now and so does the RX-7.

Gwinnett Sonic has been goin on since 2006 not when CRAMERIZKING posted in 2007. It moved from snellville after 50-60 cars started showing up, and it got busted by Snellville PD. Julio you yourself asked to get the meet location. Learning from that, Sonic meet stayed off board for almost a year, reason it was a chill meet and only had 20-30 cars max.
So since Julio wants to give all the credit to CRAMERIZKING for Gwinnett Sonic meet, what has he done for the meet other than not even mention it in his poll? Has he spent his time on it for last 2 years? Has he spent money hiring officers? Did he walked around telling people to park properly and telling to cut the immature crap?

From what I remember reading, UpsideDownDesi paid for cops to show up at the meets to keep the dumbasses to a minimum. Now I'm not saying who started them, nor does it really matter at this point. I can start a meet today and not even show up and say a month later after someone else has been taking care of it "Oh this is my meet and I'm in charge." In my opinion that's really fucked up. Just my two cents into this thread.

All the times I have gone I see a random cop roll through...more or less on patrol, rather than being there to keep shit to a minimum. Everytime I have been there, theres always some fuckstick doing burnouts, donuts, and other dumb shit!

I don't have pockets deep enough to hire cop for every meet, They are $35 an hour, do the match. Not so cheap for every month, hence i asked people to pitch in. Which they did for about 2 meets. I did my fair share. I guess all times you roll through u didn't see cops sitting at QT, and Kroger side of the parking lot or you want them especially at times when you are about to make your all so important presence.

This shit is what is wrong with shit. It's a fucking car meet. We used to have huge meets every week. Who started them, no one knew, no one cared. We just had fun. Everybody wants to be the big shot leader. We had a few like that. You know what happened to them. They left. It's all about the people willing to go to the meets and showing up, not the one who "organized" a meet in a damn public parking lot. We all helped in telling the punks to take their shit elsewhere when they acted stupid. I would love to see some huge centalized meets happen again, other than the once a month Varsity.
i have no beef with the person in question, but this statement is incorrect. he was just another ia member that frequented the meets when they started blowing up. he really didnt have a hand in what it has become.
Collin you are one of the OG guys who came to first big size Gwinnett Meet that was on 124 in Snellville in front of Carmike Theater then it got busted and we all started rolling to Sonic in Riverside. It stayed our lil meet with 20-30 cars for about year and half.
First Sonic meet to blow up with 70+ cars was when I, with help of friends, organized it bit better after that it just grew on it own. It is not fair say, I had no hand.

MULTIPLE sonics, back then. then everyone pretty much settled on the one off riverside. sonny, like i said man, i got no beef with you. we cool. I remember going to Sonic Meet when there was only about 20 cars, and out of those 20 cars I was one of them and so was sunny. I stopped going for about 6 months(DL suspended) and when I returned for the first time, I saw like 200 cars. I was like WTF is all this. Now I dont know who helped organize all that, but it sure as hell grew bigger in past year or so.
And sad to say, I liked going to Sonic Meet when it was smaller. Now its bunch of ricers, miata faggots thinking they driving the best car out there, ricers doing burn outs and list goes on.

Kept most of the BP idiots away, even though we have fair share of our own. Since you have stepped in, edited the thread, and posted the address of the meet. Are you gonna be there every meet to keep it in check?
