    Default Sonic Meet / Gwinnett, I like to give credit where credit is due..

    Someone was telling me that there is a member on here claiming that he started the Sonic meet every Thursday in Gwinnett...

    Those meets were started right here on Importatlanta.com By Member CRAMERIZKING...

    Cramerizking was the 1st person to start these meets.. Not the other person who thinks because he has a multi page stickied thread on IA thinks he started this...


    The reason I wanted to make this thread is because, We like to give credit where credit is due based on the fact that the Sonic meets are 200 or 300 cars deep.. And someone, is trying to gain fame on this..

    Now, I cannot back up what was told to me (yet), but for some reason I think is true..
    Thats why I didnt mentioned any names...

    But I do know for fact.. that Cramerizking was the one who started the now famous, Gwinnett Meet @ Sonic on Thursday... Back in early 2007 through Importatlanta.com.

    Yeah, the dude tried to set up a whole new meet for the Thursday night meets and set a new location saying the other one wasn't worth shit and that he was taking over.

    Next thing you know, Julio came in and straight told the dude that he wasn't moving shit. This isn't his meet to move and all kinds of shit.

    I started going back in 2007 because a friend told me about it and dragged me along; and a lot of the regulars who go now didn't start showing up until the past year or so. I hardly go anymore but things have definitely changed there, from about 15 of us to now filling the parking lot. But with more people comes more fucktards doing burnouts in the parking lot and throwing trash everywhere except trash cans.

    ©hris started every meet, everywhere. Why just the word "meet" is a play on words to describe his favorite thing to eat. Because when he invented the "meets" he was hoping to find a big healthy man sausage.

    That's just what I heard from some of the OG's anyway. I've never met the guy.

    Collin you are one of the OG guys who came to first big size Gwinnett Meet that was on 124 in Snellville in front of Carmike Theater then it got busted and we all started rolling to Sonic in Riverside. It stayed our lil meet with 20-30 cars for about year and half.

    First Sonic meet to blow up with 70+ cars was when I, with help of friends, organized it bit better after that it just grew on it own. It is not fair say, I had no hand.

    For the record for everyone, i want whoever is said to come up and say that i personally walked around telling ppl "i started Gwinnett Sonic Meet". To everyone who asked, i say i organized it, and it made itself over time."

    you're right. i AM a goddamn OG. i remember the snellville meets. i remember getting run off by the cops. i remember going to sonic. MULTIPLE sonics, back then. then everyone pretty much settled on the one off riverside. sonny, like i said man, i got no beef with you. we cool. BUT i will also say you were just another car junkie, jsut like everyone else out there, having a good time. when it blew up, you were not mentioned by ANYONE there. if you hired cops, thats awesome! i'm not knocking you for that, but do it because you love the hobby, not because you're hoping someone will notice you. if you do it for recognition, you're doing it for the wrong reasons, homie.

    Hell ya man we cool, E-shit don't get between us lol. I never did it for recognition. I did it because of love for the hobby not to be like "yea i am the shit." I went there as everyone else did. No one mentioned anything because i didn't go around blabbering about it, "yea i am UpSideDownDesi, my meet", like i am getting pinned with it here. I stay to myself most of the time.

    Did i personally invite 200 cars? No, but i do think i have a good hand in making it what it is today.

    We all liked it when it was just the "Gwinnett Meet", now it being public (thanks Julio), expect it to get worse...BP V.2.



    BTW Julio if you are not going to help out don't mess with the meet. We (we as all who go to the meet) were happy it being somewhat private, not everyone knowing. Kept most of the BP idiots away, even though we have fair share of our own. Since you have stepped in, edited the thread, and posted the address of the meet. Are you gonna be there every meet to keep it in check?

    I wish the meet would get moved so it can go back to how it was, at least for a short time. The Sonic meets now are worse than BP.

    lol! The Lilburn/Gwinnett meet was definitely started by me in '06. Only had about 15-20 cars/bike show weekly but it was something to do on a Tuesday night. I was doing them Tuesday nights so it never conflicted with the Varsity.

    Lilburn/Gwinnett Meet Tuesday 5/2!
