That is true, but read the following line in my post.

Interest past the school teachings will yield our big thinkers and innovaters.

This is true, but I am not talking about educating the next Bill Gates or Warren Buffett. I am talking about educating that mid-level supervisor at Sony, or that guy that worked on the assembly line that was just promoted to lead.

People that go on to college are 100% responsible for the content and quality of the education they receive. People that goto public schools have little say in the curriculum they are forcd to endure and their only say in the quality is the effort they put into it.

Well thats kinda what I was getting at, my word choice could have been a little more direct. Those that don't get it, never will past grade school. I don't think that those subjects are pushed hard enough in school, nor are they taken serious enough in college. If someone leaves with the basic knowledge in grade school, then they SHOULD be able to function in socitey, lol.
