they are completely different chassis's...notice the "AE86" so commonly used...that’s a chassis designation you worthless troll.....notice its not the same as "AW11".....they are NOTHING alike......also, they are close...but the MR2 is actually heavier.....mostly due to the strengthening/reinforcing of the chassis.....something that has to be done aftermarket on a corolla if looking to exceed 200whp lulz

The fact is, they aren’t just the same car with different layouts...the MR2 was designed as a MR car....not the other way around. If you were to swap the motor in the corolla to the rear, obviously it wouldn’t handle the same....as it wasn’t designed that way
