You must have taken very little time "google Searching" your argument, because it has little to nothing to do with the actual argument at hand, nor does it include a single FACT proving otherwise. Dont you believe that is a little hypocritical on your part saying there is no empirical evidence to disprove global warming claims, yet you provide no real data yourself?

The Earth's climate changes all the time. Did carbon dioxide emissions cause the Medieval Warm Period, when Vikings raised crops on Greenland's coast? What caused the cold climate from 1700 to 1850? what about the GISS (NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies) report in 1971 predicting an ice age? Yes, the very organization now presaging gloom and doom at the hands of "global warming"

Here is a list of the hottest recorded dates in history, not one is even in the 21st century, not even the so called Hottest recorded year in history(supposedly 1998) which was proven wrong in multiple case studies

World (Africa) El Azizia, Libya Sept. 13, 1922 136F

North America (US) Death Valley, Calif. July 10, 1913 134F

Asia Tirat Tsvi, Israel June 21, 1942 129

Australia Cloncurry, Queensland Jan. 16, 1889 128

Europe Seville, Spain Aug. 4, 1881 122 50

South America Rivadavia, Argentina Dec. 11, 1905 120
Canada Midale and Yellow Grass,
Saskatchewan, Canada July 5, 1937 113

Persian Gulf (sea-surface) Aug. 5, 1924 96

Antarctica Vanda Station Jan. 5, 1974 59F
South Pole Dec. 27, 1978 7.5 F

The hottest temperature in the United States ever recorded occurred in Death Valley, California during 43 consecutive days between July 6 and August 17, 1917. During those days, the temperature was over 48 degrees Celsius (120 degrees Fahrenheit). The national weather service recorded 56.7 °C (134 °F).

Those are Straight From Guiness World Records, and the "The Physics Factbook"...neither group advocating nor opposing the global warming position. Truly an unbias source.

How about this ill-forgotten factoid:

GISS Temperature study in 2006

NASA does not fully publish the computer source code and formulae used to calculate the trends in the graph, nor the correction used to arrive at the "corrected" data. Steve McIntyre of the Toronto based Climate Audit had to reverse engineer the process by comparing the raw data and the processed data.. :

"This imparts an upward discontinuity of a deg C in wintertime and 0.8 deg C annually. I checked the monthly data and determined that the discontinuity occurred on January 2000 - and, to that extent, appears to be a Y2K problem. I presume that this is a programming error."

Also According to his "Quantifying the Hansen Y2K Error" report:

"I observed recently that Hansen's GISS series contains an apparent error in which Hansen switched the source of GISS raw from USHCN adjusted to USHCN raw for all values January 2000 and later. For Detroit Lakes MN, this introduced an error of 0.8 deg C. I've collated GISS raw minus USHCN adjusted for all USHCN sites (using the data scraped from the GISS site, for which I was most criticized in Rabett-world). Figure 1 below shows a histogram of the January 2000 step for the 1221 stations (calculated here as the difference between the average of the difference after Jan 2000 and for the 1990-1999 period.) The largest step occurred in Douglas AZ where the Hansen error is 1.75 deg C! There is obviously a bimodal distribution."

Letter to GISS officials:

Response:

NASA made a correction not only on their own web page, attributing the discovery to McIntyre, but NASA also issued a corrected set of temperature anomaly data which you can see here:

http://data.giss.nasa.gov/gistemp/graphs/Fig.D.txt

while they still didn't provide proper provenance for the data before 2000, leaving another guessing game.......who would have guessed

According to the new data published by NASA, 1998 nor 2006 is no longer the hottest years ever. 1934 is.

NOAA has still yet to issue a statement saying otherwise, even though GISS themselves has corrected the error....hmmm wonder why ppl are so missinformed

http://www.noaanews.noaa.gov/stories2007/s2772.htm

Four of the top 10 years of US CONUS high temperature deviations are now from the 1930s: 1934, 1931, 1938 and 1939, while only 3 of the top 10 are from the last 10 years (1998, 2006, 1999). Several years (2000, 2002, 2003, 2004) fell well down the leaderboard, behind even 1900. (World rankings of temperature are calculated separately.)
