I can't believe it. Leisa is the coolest female on IA, she can't go anywhere. I'm sure that she's going to be just fine. We all know that's too strong for anything less. You two have got my thoughts and wishes Brett. Stay strong and just be there for when she comes around.
Wow. Brett I cannot imagine what you are going through right now. I've only met you and Leisa a couple times, but ya'll were both some of the nicest people I've ever met. I'm still can't believe this is happening, please keep us updated. You and Leisa mean a lot to this community and you both are in my prayers.

Have faith, she will pull through this.....you have to stay strong for her.
A similiar situation happened with my Aunt 9 yrs ago....she was in a coma for almost 2 weeks.....my uncle risked losing his job, both his mental and physical health, and even being escorted off the hospital premisis....but he didnt leave her side the entire time. Instead he was there right next to her in her bed holding her hand. He read to her...her favorite books, old love notes from thier college days and even old birthday cards from their kids......he showed her photo albums, explaining each pictures story to her...even almost holding conversations with her, as if it were any other normal day...basically in his mind, there was nothing he wouldnt do, no amount of time, and no person on this earth that was going to take her from him........her passing was not an option for him, he kept the thought furthest from his mind....eventually she woke up. Be strong and fight for her..... anything is possible if you want it bad enough

Listen, I know that this time can be tough....VERY tough. However, I don't want you to beat yourself up over this or anything like that. Both you and Leisa are great people and you don't deserve this at all. Don't ever question that. Just keep your head up and have faith that she will pull through. The human body is an amazing thing and has done amazing things in terms of recovery that even blow the doctors away. They told my parents that I wouldn't even wake up for the first two days...that all was lost. By the 5th or 6th day, they said that I might wake up, but that I wouldn't even know who they were or if I would even be able to function normally in life again. I pulled through and so can Leisa. Don't get down, don't give up...she can pull through this.Originally Posted by Brett

I figured that it might help. They had the priest at my bed and everything. I was in BAD shape. I was not expected to live...seriously. It was horrible, yet look at me now. The doctors still have NO clue how I was able to recover. Leisa can do it as well...I know she can. The body's will to live is amazing. Leisa is strong. I have faith that she can make it through this.

yea brett keep talking to her...just your prescence there will give her the motivation to keep chugging along to her old self..no matter what they can feel and hear you.
Stay strong, Brett. All will get better with time just watch. Leisa's a strong individual, and will make it through this. Just stay positive.

I will pray for her man. I just found out and it was very shocking. Let me know if you need anything. Man this was a shock..life never gives you notice, you never know when something can happen to someone you've known for quite sometime and you would never think something would happen to them...I have her in my prayers man.
