Thank you everyone, reading all this had me crying again this morning. I am about to head to her work to see what kind of benefits she has because even if she pulls through she will not be able to work again they say, so now the reality of bills (House, car payments, etc) are what also kept me up all night because I dont know how I am going to stay afloat if its just me.

I kept reading through this thread hoping that for some reason this was an akward joke, as IA is rarely brought to a serious level. Now that I have reached the end and realize this is no joke I am genuinely concerned for someone whom I don't know from Adam. So Brett, I know we've never met, but I'm so sorry. I don't really know what else to say to/for you except that all you can do is find your own way to cope until she comes back to you. Until then, I'm sure there are plenty of people in your life to lean on, so my thoughts and prayers go out to you and Leisa.

Talk her, stay by her side as much as you can, and most of all try to have faith in her and her recovery. Wow. Brett I cannot imagine what you are going through right now. I've only met you and Leisa a couple times, but ya'll were both some of the nicest people I've ever met.
